I have been working in the field of mental health since 1993.  I am particularly interested in the areas of parenting support, early child development, and adults' difficulties achieving their potential in areas of business and the arts. 

Education and Training

After earning my Master's Degree at the University of Chicago, I received additional training in developmental and clinical work with families with young children at the Virginia Frank Child Development Center in Roger's Park.  I completed a four-year, post-master's training program at the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis.  Currently, I supervise the assessment of young children and their families, and provide consultation to child welfare agencies as a clinical supervisor at the Erikson Institute for Child Development.

I am the President of the Association of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists.
